Affiliate disclosure
Plain and up front: some links here are affiliate links, and they never buy a better score.

How we make money
UndetectableBrowsers is funded in part by affiliate commissions. Some of the outbound links to vendor websites — typically the "Visit site" buttons on review and ranking pages — are affiliate links. If you sign up or purchase through one of them, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go to the vendor directly.
This funding is what pays for hands-on testing, proxies, paid trials, and the time it takes to keep pricing current.
What it does not affect
It does not affect our scores or our rankings. Every product is graded against the same fixed ten-criteria rubric before any commercial relationship is considered, and a vendor cannot pay to move up. Products with no affiliate program — including free and open-source tools — are ranked and scored exactly like those that pay. Where a tool is weak, we say so, affiliate link or not.
How affiliate links are marked
Outbound commercial links use rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and open in a new tab, in line
with search-engine guidelines and advertising-disclosure rules (including FTC and EU/GDPR expectations of
clear, conspicuous disclosure). This page, linked from the footer of every page, is that disclosure.
Independence in practice
- Scoring happens against the rubric first; monetization is considered only afterward.
- We rank tools with no affiliate program the same way as tools that pay.
- We publish weaknesses, caveats, and "who should skip it" sections even for products we earn from.
- Prices are verified against the vendor's official pages and dated; we re-check them periodically.
