Privacy policy
Last updated
This policy explains what data UndetectableBrowsers collects, why, and your choices. We are a content site that reviews software; we collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, referrers, approximate region, device type). This data is aggregated and not used to identify you.
- Form submissions. If you use the submit an update form, we receive the information you enter, including your email, solely to verify the submission and follow up.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider may keep standard logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and reliability.
Cookies & tracking
We keep cookies to a minimum. We do not run intrusive ad-tracking cookies. Analytics may use a cookie-less or first-party measurement approach. Outbound affiliate links may set a cookie on the vendor's domain (not ours) so the vendor can attribute a sign-up to us; this is controlled by the vendor's own privacy policy.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one and sign up, the vendor may share a confirmation that the referral came from us, but we do not receive your personal account details. See our affiliate disclosure for the full picture.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data.
- We do not add form contacts to marketing lists.
- We do not require an account to read the site.
Third parties
We rely on a hosting/CDN provider and an analytics provider, which process data on our behalf. Outbound links to vendor websites are governed by those vendors' own privacy policies once you leave this site.
Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you — in practice, that usually means a form submission and the email tied to it. To make a request, contact us via the contacts page.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be noted on this page.
This is a general template provided for transparency and should be reviewed against the laws that apply to the site operator before launch.
